Behind every healthy smile is a team that genuinely cares about the person attached to it. Too often, dental care can feel impersonal or rushed, and finding a practice that combines real skill with real warmth is harder than it should be.
Encore Dentist was created to change that. We are a group dental practice serving the Bay Area with three offices in Castro Valley, American Canyon, and Napa, united under one brand and one philosophy by Dr. Kevin Cabugao.

Our locations grew from established practices with deep roots in their neighborhoods, and we have brought them together so patients benefit from shared knowledge, modern systems, and a single, consistent standard of care. Each office keeps the local, familiar feel its community knows, while gaining the strength of a larger group.
Dr. Kevin Cabugao
Hi, I’m Dr. Hafsa Wahid! I grew up just outside of Dallas, Texas, before heading east to pursue my education in dentistry. I earned my Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine, followed by my doctoral degree from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program through NYU Langone Health at a community care clinic in Boston, where I gained hands-on experience treating a diverse range of patients. I called Boston home for about ten years before recently relocating to California to continue my career in dentistry.
I’m passionate about staying at the forefront of my field — I love keeping up with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques so I can bring my patients the highest standard of care. I try to bring that same curiosity and dedication to every appointment, combining clinical expertise with genuine care for my patients’ well-being.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my family and friends. You’ll often find me exploring new coffee shops, hiking California’s trails, or hanging out at a local park with my daughter, who just turned two.

We are an out-of-network practice by choice, because it lets us put your needs ahead of an insurance company’s rules. That freedom means more time with you, recommendations based only on what is right for your health, and honest conversations about cost and options. For patients without insurance, we make care attainable through flexible financing and an in-house membership plan.

From cosmetic and restorative dentistry to implants and family care, our team is committed to ongoing training and modern technique. We believe good dentistry is equal parts science and trust, and we work to earn yours at every appointment. Preventive care is central to that commitment, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that routine dental visits support oral health education, prevention, and the early detection of disease.
