Dr. Kevin Cabugao
Hi, I’m Dr. Hafsa Wahid! I grew up just outside of Dallas, Texas, before heading east to pursue my education in dentistry. I earned my Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine, followed by my doctoral degree from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program through NYU Langone Health at a community care clinic in Boston, where I gained hands-on experience treating a diverse range of patients. I called Boston home for about ten years before recently relocating to California to continue my career in dentistry.
I’m passionate about staying at the forefront of my field — I love keeping up with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques so I can bring my patients the highest standard of care. I try to bring that same curiosity and dedication to every appointment, combining clinical expertise with genuine care for my patients’ well-being.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my family and friends. You’ll often find me exploring new coffee shops, hiking California’s trails, or hanging out at a local park with my daughter, who just turned two.
Why Patients Choose Our Napa Office
Our Napa office is built around restorative and implant care, supported by a prosthodontic heritage that suits complex cases and full mouth work. We use modern technology, including single visit crown options, and we take the time complex care deserves. As an out of network practice, we recommend only what is right for your long term oral health.
Restoring teeth matters more with age, and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research reports that adults aged 65 and older have an average of about 21 remaining natural teeth, and roughly 15 percent have lost all of their natural teeth.
Comparing Your Tooth Replacement Options
If you are missing one or more teeth, the right option depends on your goals, your bone health, and your budget. The comparison below is a general guide, and your dentist will confirm what suits you.
- Dental implants: the longest lasting option, do not affect neighboring teeth, and can last a lifetime with care.
- Dental bridges: a fixed option that uses neighboring teeth for support and is often quicker to complete.
- Dentures: a removable, more affordable option that restores a full or partial arch.
- Full mouth reconstruction: a combination of treatments to rebuild a worn or failing bite.
Your dentist will confirm the right approach for you at your consultation.

Cost, Insurance, and Financing in Napa
We are an out of network practice, which gives us the freedom to recommend what is best for you. If you have a PPO plan, you can usually still use your benefits with us, and we will help you file claims so you receive any reimbursement your plan allows. Your out of pocket cost depends on your plan’s deductible, coverage percentage, and annual maximum.
For patients without insurance, we offer flexible financing and an in house membership plan that includes preventive care and savings on treatment. We will always provide a clear estimate before any treatment begins, so there are no surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does getting a dental implant hurt?
Most patients report that implant placement is more comfortable than expected. The area is fully numbed, and any soreness afterward is usually mild and short lived.
How long does the dental implant process take?
Implants are placed in phases over several months to allow the bone to heal around the implant. We will map out your timeline at your consultation.
Can you make a crown in one visit?
In many cases, yes. Same day crown technology lets us design and place certain crowns in a single appointment. We will confirm whether it is an option for your tooth.
Do you offer care in Spanish?
Yes. We welcome our Spanish speaking neighbors and provide care and information in Spanish.
I have always been out of network. How does that affect cost?
Being out of network means we set our own fees and answer to you, not an insurer. If you have a PPO plan, you can usually still receive reimbursement, and we offer financing and a membership plan as well.
